About
We build one custom platform per client. Not templates. Not white-label software.
Baseframe exists because we watched too many businesses manage their operations through combinations of disconnected SaaS tools that were never designed to work together.
Baseframe builds custom dedicated platforms for businesses — one per client. A platform designed specifically for your workflows, your data model, your team.
We got here because we spent years watching businesses manage their operations through combinations of HubSpot, Zoho Books, Shopify, Dialpad, Authorize.net, and an ever-growing pile of spreadsheets. None of these tools are bad. But none of them were built for the specific business trying to use them, and the friction between them compounds over time.
The first client we built for had a wholesale distribution operation in Southern California. They were managing invoicing in Zoho Books, inventory in Shopify, customer notes in HubSpot, and payments through Authorize.net's web interface. Their Monday morning began with moving data between four different dashboards. That's not a process problem — it's a tooling problem. We replaced all of it with one platform.
That's what Baseframe is. If you have the same problem, we should talk.
What we believe
Generic software is optimized for the median customer, not for you.
Off-the-shelf CRMs have to work for a law firm, a dental practice, a wholesale distributor, and a software company simultaneously. The result is something that works adequately for all of them and excellently for none. If your operation is even slightly non-standard — and most real businesses are — you end up working around your tools instead of with them.
Custom doesn't mean expensive forever.
The upfront cost of a custom build is real. The ongoing cost of tool sprawl is also real — in subscription fees, wasted time, and errors caused by data living in six places at once. For some businesses, generic tools are the right answer. For others, a one-time build that runs for five years is cheaper than five years of SaaS fees.
You should own what you pay for.
When we finish a build, you get the codebase. You're not locked into a proprietary platform that we can hold hostage with pricing changes. You can take the code to another developer. We'd prefer you stick with us for hosting and improvements, but that's your choice.
AI should make your team faster, not replace them.
Every Baseframe platform includes AI capabilities — ticket response suggestions, smart search, customer intelligence. But AI assists your team's decisions; it doesn't make them. Your people know your business. AI just gives them better context, faster.
Security isn't a premium tier.
We don't offer a 'secure version.' Every build ships with OWASP ASVS Level 2, annual penetration testing, and an append-only audit trail. If you're handling customer financial data, these aren't optional features — they're the baseline.
We'll tell you if we're not the right fit.
There are businesses better served by HubSpot, Shopify, or QuickBooks than by a custom build. If that's you, we'll say so in the first conversation. Our reputation depends on clients who see real value, not on closing every deal.
